What is the Memory Game Competition?

The Memory Game Competition is an online contest where players test their memory skills by matching pairs of cards. Players compete for a share of the $1 million prize pool.

When does the competition take place?

The competition starts on Saturday 24 May 2025 at 7:00am UTC and ends on Sunday 25 May 2025 at 7:00pm UTC.

How much is the entry fee?

The entry fee varies depending on when you register:

  • $8 for the first week (April 26 - May 2, 2025)
  • $16 for the second week (May 3 - May 9, 2025)
  • $24 for the third week (May 10 - May 16, 2025)
  • $32 for the last week (May 17 - May 23, 2025)

The earlier you register, the less you pay and the more time you have to practice!

Game Rules

How do I play the game?

The game is simple:

  1. Click on cards to flip them over
  2. Try to find matching pairs of gems
  3. Remember the positions of cards you've seen
  4. Match all pairs to complete the level

What are the different game levels?

There are 10 difficulty levels:

  • Level 1: 3×4 grid (12 cards)
  • Level 2: 4×4 grid (16 cards)
  • Level 3: 4×5 grid (20 cards)
  • Level 4: 4×6 grid (24 cards)
  • Level 5: 4×7 grid (28 cards)
  • Level 6: 5×6 grid (30 cards)
  • Level 7: 6×6 grid (36 cards)
  • Level 8: 6×7 grid (42 cards)
  • Level 9: 6×8 grid (48 cards)
  • Level 10: 7×8 grid (56 cards)

How is the scoring calculated?

Points are awarded based on the level you're playing:

  • For each matching pair: 10 points × level number
  • For each mismatched pair: -1 point × level number

For example, in Level 3, you earn 30 points for each match and lose 3 points for each mismatch.

Prizes

What prizes can I win?

The total prize pool is $1 million, distributed among 127 winners:

Top 7 players:

$100,000 each

Ranks 8-27:

$10,000 each

Ranks 28-127:

$1,000 each

How are winners determined?

Winners are determined by their total score at the end of the competition period. The higher your score, the higher your rank.

How and when will I receive my prize?

Prizes will be paid in the cryptocurrency you selected during registration. Payments will be processed within 7 days after the competition ends.

What if I forget my username or password?

Unfortunately, we cannot recover lost usernames or passwords. Please keep your credentials safe as there is no password reset functionality.

Can I change my cryptocurrency preference after registration?

No, the cryptocurrency you select during registration will be used for both payment and prize distribution.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, each person is allowed only one account. Multiple accounts will result in disqualification.

What devices can I play on?

The game is responsive and works on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones.

What browsers are supported?

The game works best on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

What happens if I lose my internet connection during a game?

Your game progress is saved periodically. If you lose connection, you can resume from where you left off when you reconnect.
